Why am I an artist?

Reading stories and watching characters come to life inspired me to become an artist. I started drawing and painting at a young age, and over time, my passion for art grew. I found beauty in everything around me, even in the scraps of paper that most people would throw away. I learned to appreciate the details in everyday objects and the stories that they told.

As I grew older, my love for art only deepened. I pursued a degree in art and design and received formal training in various traditional and digital media. I learned to create art using pencils, paintbrushes, charcoal, and ink, as well as on the computer using software like Procreate and Photoshop. These skills have allowed me to create a wide range of artwork, from traditional paintings and drawings to digital illustrations and animations.

The overall purpose of my artwork is to make others smile. I believe that art has the power to bring joy and happiness into people's lives, and that's what I strive to do with every piece I create. Whether it's a whimsical character design, a colorful painting, or an intricate pattern, my goal is to evoke a sense of wonder and bliss in my audience. If I can make a smile appear on your face, then my job as an artist has been successful.

I specialize in character and story-focused art, drawing inspiration from my favorite childhood fables. My work often tells a story, whether it's a clear narrative or something more abstract and open to interpretation. I want my viewers to be able to see themselves in my artwork and find a piece of themselves in the characters and scenes I create. I enjoy creating a variety of works using traditional, digital, and mixed-media techniques. Whether it's a painting, a digital illustration, or a mixed-media paper piece, I love exploring new mediums and pushing the boundaries of what is possible.

I see myself as a lifelong learner and explorer of art. I believe that there's always something new to learn and discover, and I'm committed to continually pushing myself creatively. I'm excited to see where my art takes me and to continue making people smile with my work.  I hope you enjoy browsing my collection of art and feel inspired by my work.
